Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known by his name, MrBeast. MrBeast is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. [6] He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that focus on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson, who was 13 when he started uploading videos to YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of "Let's Plays" as well as "videos that estimate the how much other YouTubers have." The YouTuber became a viral hit in 2017 thanks to his "Counting to 100,000" video, which received thousands of hits in just a few days. Donaldson has enlisted a number of former classmates to help him manage the growing popularity of the brand after it was established. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel, with more than 100 million users was founded in 2022.
